Advantages of Contactless IC Card

(1) High reliability

There is no mechanical contact between the contactless IC card and the reader, which avoids various failures caused by contact reading and writing. For example, due to rough card insertion and the insertion of non-card foreign objects, dust or oil can cause malfunction due to poor contact. In addition, there is no bare chip on the surface of the non-contact card, so there is no need to worry about the chip falling off, electrostatic breakdown, bending damage and other problems.  It not only facilitates card printing, but also improves the reliability of card use.

(2) Easy operation

Due to contactless communication, the reader can operate the card within 10CM, so there is no need to insert the card. It is very user-friendly. There is no directionality when using a non-contact card. The card can sweep the surface of the reader in any direction to complete the operation, which greatly improves the speed of each use.

(3) Anti-conflict

The contactless card has a quick anti-collision mechanism to prevent data interference between the cards. Therefore, the reader can process multiple non-contact IC cards "simultaneously". This improves the parallelism of the application and virtually increases the system's working speed.

(4) Suitable for multiple applications

The serial number of the non-contact card is unique. The card manufacturers have cured this serial number before leaving the factory, and it cannot be changed. A two-way verification mechanism is adopted between the contactless card and the reader, that is, the reader verifies the legitimacy of the IC card, and the IC card also verifies the legitimacy of the reader.

The contactless card must be authenticated with the reader three times before processing, and all data is encrypted during the communication. In addition, each sector in the card has its own operation password and access conditions.

The memory structure of the contact card makes it multi-purpose and can be used in different systems. Users can set different passwords and access conditions according to different applications.

(5) Good encryption performance

The non-contact IC card is composed of an IC chip and an induction antenna, and is completely sealed in a standard PVC card with no exposed parts. The read-write process of the non-contact IC card is usually completed by radio waves between the non-contact IC card and the reader.

The non-contact IC card itself is a passive body. When the reader reads and writes the card, the signal emitted by the reader is composed of two parts superimposed. One part is the power signal, which is received by the card and resonates with its own L/C, generating an instant energy to supply the chip with work. The other part is to combine the data signal to direct the chip to complete data, modification, storage, etc., and return it to the reader. The read-write system formed by the non-contact IC card has been greatly simplified in terms of hardware structure and operation process. At the same time, with the help of advanced management software, the offline operation mode makes the data reading and writing process easier.
